A Word About Fairies

“A Word About Fairies” is not my opinion or my interpretation of Fairy Encounters. I am strictly a conduit – a middle man – between story teller and reader. My job is to give a true and accurate description of what the individual having the encounter experienced. Each individual story is unique.

Do Fairies Exist

The Odyssey is the tale of Ulysses, also known as Odysseus, and his heroic journey home after the Trojan War. Facing mythical beasts, wrathful gods, and his inner struggles, our hero celebrates the resilience of the human spirit. The story continues to captivate readers with its profound themes of loyalty, ingenuity, and the enduring quest for home.

About the author

James Martin

Founder of Martin Surveys and Land Services Inc. Now owned and controlled by my three sons. Having decided to take a consulting role in Martin Surveys, I now have time to pursue other interests. Music and books have always been my passion. I have now been blessed with the opportunity to explore both.

In 2023 my wife Joyce and I joined the Torbay Folk Arts – Rocky Isle Singers choral group. In 2025 I wrote and published, “A Word About Fairies”. These new adventures are both challenging and rewarding and I enjoy every moment.

I hope that you enjoy the collection of fairy encounters as much as I have enjoyed writing about them. This has been a real learning experience. Read and enjoy. This is “A Word About Fairies.”
